Top 5 Favorite German Songs~!

Okay so if you at all interested in Germany I think the best way to appreciate how diverse their culture can be is to listen to there music. So here is my Top 5 favorite Germans songs. Check them out on Youtube! Enjoy!

5.  Die Prinzen- Deutschland - Okay they are kind of like BNL or Smash mouth. They do
some pretty funny stuff and this song is all about how wonderful germany is and their video gives visuals about what their singing about, for those of you german-impaired.








4.2raumwohnug- Pretty much any song by them is cool. They are folky-pop. These two come from Germanys capital Berlin. They are really nice to listen to when you are relaxing.

3.  So Soll es Bleiben by Ich und Ich. This what I would call German light rock/pop.  As of yet I have been unable to completely translate it but I love the melody and his voice.

2. Beweg Dein Arsch by Sido Feat. Kat-  Okay so pretty much he is Germany's answer to Eminem. He is white and he raps. Plain and simple.   Beweg Dein Arsch means Move your Ass in English. This song is really cool though, its about taking what you were given in life and doing something with it. Its about getting up and doing something with your life. Its got a kick ass bass line and sounds awesome when its blasted on the car stereo.

1. SCOOTER- Okay any song is awesome by them. They are Germany's most successful band. Their style ranges from Dance, Trance, Electronic, to Jumpstyle. They are a good band to dance, work out, or listen to. Their Frontman, H.P. Baxxter, is hotter than hell!!!! XD  ( course I have a weird taste in men) But seriously check them out!!!

Halloween....

It was official as of yesterday! I am going to be a "Biergarten Frau" for Halloween. Pictures will follow soon.... So those of you wondering what a Biergarten is? Here is the answer, it is a open garden with many tables where you can enjoy a beer or two, sit the sun and enjoy talking with your friends. They are very popular in Germany and can be found in almost every city.  I cant wait to go to one in Germany.

Why Germany?

So this is my first post! yay! lol
I decided to put more detail about why I am going to Germany. I want to go because I  want to see the world from another perspective. I want to learn about the German culture and language first hand.  My passion came from having two wonderful Germans for friends.I know its going to be hard for me because the German and American cultures are so different. But I feel that if I could make friends with those two, I could make good friends over there. I am a pretty adaptable person with a big heart and an open mind. I think those will help me out too.

At the end of very blog/ video I will teach you a German word for free! ;-)

So todays random word is  Auslander, which  means Foreigner.
